ACSI Mechanical Group recently installed a new boiler, a high-efficiency burner, an economizer and related energy saving equipment to help a local hospital save energy costs.

A boiler is only as efficient as the burner it is mated to, and ACSI Mechanical Group installed one of the most efficient burners available. At most, the old burner was 76 to 78 percent efficient. The new burner will offer increased commodity saving of 80 to 85 percent!

To capture further savings, the client also elected to install an economizer too. Since the facility couldn’t shut down for work to be completed, the utilities remained operational while the older unit was safely disconnected and removed.
