Take a Quick Look (Before You Shut Down Your Boiler)
We’re just coming out of a long winter. Your boiler & heating system has worked hard and may have experienced some wear and tear. Before you shut the boiler down for the season, give it some attention.
Look for any signs of overheating on the outside of your boiler… Like paint burning off. This can be a sure sign of refractory failure on the inside. Check your burner’s linkage swivel joints for any “wear & tear.”
Look close for any water under the boiler from possible leaks.
Whether you have a Steam or Hot Water Boiler… Look for leaks & make a note as to their location… So repairs can be made after the heating system is shut down for the season.
Look for any “SOOT” on or around the boiler… This will tell you that your burner may not be firing safely… (This may require immediate attention)… Don’t wait on this one!
If you have any questions about your heating system, feel free to call & discuss any concerns.

Stay SAFE & HEALTHY!
Let’s all pray that this Virus Thing comes & goes swiftly!
