Gas Interuption

Many of us depend on natural gas to heat our homes and businesses. But events such as natural disasters, damage to pipelines due to digging, and even a gas-supply shortage can affect our natural gas infrastructure and your access to natural gas. No gas means no heat and no hot water, no steam! What do you do in the event of a natural gas interruption?
FOR DUAL FUEL (Gas & Oil) FIRED BOILERS ONLY:

ACSI, Inc. has the answer. We can help you avoid this potential problem and keep you warm by performing some minor modifications now to your existing fuel burner.

Most larger industrial burners have natural-gas pilots to ignite gas and fuel oil, providing that you have the capability to fire on fuel oil as a backup – if natural gas becomes unavailable.

We can furnish and install a propane-gas pilot source for igniting your boiler on fuel oil in an emergency. Our system includes a small tank, a regulator, a flexible hose, and fittings. We will set up and adjust the pilot for safe “light-off’ in case of an emergency. In a nutshell, our one-tank/regulator setup makes multi-burner start-ups possible, keeping your system working even without gas. With our help, you’ll be ready for any potential natural gas emergencies down the road.

Give us a call to learn more about how you can be better prepared for a natural gas interruption.

Sincerely,
